yes! some progress. i set the 2nd hard drive to boot first, and
basically with booting from hard drive enabled in bios, and a windows
xp disc in the cdrom drive, but no floppy, the screen shows me
Non-System disk or disk error
Replace and press any key when ready
tried putting in a debian cd, the ubuntu cd, the smartbootmanager
floppy, the windows 98 se floppy, tried without any media, but it just
kept writing a new message saying Non-System disk or disk error.
