Hi, I did the removing of ntpdate while booting and that is fine. Got my own script to set time to local server time. #./set-the-time = ntpdate igubu.saix.net 31 Oct 16:26:03 ntpdate[5970]: the NTP socket is in use, exiting Same script on my gateway with suse 9.0 works fine. Something still need to be done here. Kindly some pointers please. Thanks Johan Sch
