The main problems I have with Sound Juicer are it's total lack of
options and extremely slow speed. Perhaps I'm just spoiled by
dbpoweramp in the Windows world which lets me choose what format,
bitrate/quality, naming scheme, I want and rips CD's at an average of
23x. SJ has almost no options and rips at 0.1x on the same hardware.

Hmm... almost all of the dbpoweramp stuff is free - maybe I'll try
bugging him about developing a Linux version. :-)
