Hey Sebastien, I like it! Maybe it's just the graphic designer in me,
but I tend to like simple shapes and colors for background images. (as
you can see in my own backgrounds!)
I can't say for sure, but I assume we're allowed to use the Ubuntu
logo - as I believe it was someone from Canonical that put the
graphics on the wiki.
I'm guessing the reason you couldn't upload the SVG file is because
they're using a pre-made content management system - and by default it
probably only accepts raster formats (.bmp, .jpg, .gif, .png, etc).
You COULD make a PNG thumbnail and link to your SVG file on the wiki
though.
