DHCP Hostname Invocation

Folks--

Somehow, dhclient3 gets invoked, but it doesn't seem to notice the
values in its config file in /etc/dhcp3/dhclient.conf, or so I think
because for some reason the client doesn't send out my hostname, which
then doesn't all my computer to register via dynamic dhcp.

Can anyone tell me where dhclient3 gets invoked?  A grep in init.d
didn't show anything up.

Is there something in debian similar to:

	/etc/sysconfig/*

in RH based distros?
