wrong time

I don't think it is the same problem.  If it was that dual-boot
Ubuntu/Window time problem, then the output of the command  'date'
would be equally wrong compared  to the display from the gnome-panel
clock.

If I understand the problem correctly, the computer has the right
time, but gnome has the wrong time.
