Works for me.
What's in your sources list? Do you get just mozilla-firefox, or do the 
locale files show as well? (ie mozilla-firefox-locale-ca)
When I apt-cache search mozilla, I get about 40 packages (including the 
myspell packs).
The mozilla browser package you want is: mozilla-browser. Try searching 
for that.
