KVM issue

Especially considering Matt's comments, I would think that if you
plugged your stuff (keyboard, monitor, mouse) in directly during the
install/config, everything would get probed and setup properly. I
don't know why that WOULDN'T work - unless the software reprobes each
time (which I don't think it does).
