Hi Fermin,

There's an entry in bugzilla that has to do with P4's and SMP kernels
- but it's not exactly the same description, so I'll let you research
that on your own.

My own experience is exactly as described in bugzilla - mostly just
random system freezes that require a hard reboot. That's the only
major problem I've had with Ubuntu - except for a hard drive failure,
and I don't think there's any way to prove or disprove Ubuntu's role
