Now Evolution is hosed

OK, now the LATEST thing is that I got an error in Evolution while
checking the mail, something about not being able to create an inbox,
and I restarted Evolution only to find all my mail, all contacts,
everything, all gone.

This on the heels of losing my flash card reader and printer, and not
being able to use either Gnome pilot or jpilot.

Any ideas how to get my Evolution mail back, if that's possible?
