Hi all!

How can I deal with packages of which a deb exists, but it's not in
the Ubuntu respositories? I swichted my girl-friends desktop from
Debian Woody/Sarge to Ubuntu and now I can not install gtk-imonc.
The FAQ says mixing Debian packages with Ubuntu packages is a bad
idea. Will gtk-imonc from Debian unstable soon find its way to the
Ubuntu respositories? Or should I fetch the Debian unstable source
of gtk-imonc and use dpkg-buildpackage to build a deb on my
girl-friends desktop? Would it then be reasonable to put a similar
line to the sources.list:

deb-src http://ftp.de.debian.org/debian unstable main non-free contrib

? Or do you have any other suggestion?

Regards,
     Christoph
