Success with Intel 536ep based modem.

Thanks to those who suggested drivers for this class of device are
available from Intel's website.

They certainly are working for me;  but the install is quite tricky,
especially as the scripts that Intel provide don't recognise Ubuntu and
therefore can't complete the process automatically for you.  You will
also need kernel information and a compiler to link together the
software to drive the modem.  These can be installed from your Warty CD.

Two points to this post;

Firstly, if you are currently trying to install such a modem please feel
free to post queries with 536ep in the subject line either on list or
off and I'll help as much as I can.

Secondly, I'll look into touching up the scripts to work on Ubuntu, and
also placing more detailed information on the Wiki.  (Both these will
have to wait a while - I've got to find time to work, eat and sleep.)
