low screen refresh rate

Hi all,

Just installed ubuntu, and I must say nice distro :)

Just one little problem so far, I can set my refresh rate higher than
60hz so everything is abit wobbly now. I've got a IIYAMA vision master
452 19" screen and ATI rage 128 video adapter. I tried several
resolutions but none of it wanted to run on a refresh rate higher than
60hz.

I also tried to set the horizontal and vertical refresh myself using
xg86config, but that didn't help either :/

Anyone got an idea?
