Will there be a boot splash like the one in suse, mandrake?

I pretty much concur.

 Imho, wouldnt it be easier if it was enabled by default but you can
remove it via synaptic/aptitude/apt.

 Hence if it causes a hardware problem, if you can get to a console
you can remove it and be fine, assuming that the more advanced users
will not want a nice pretty little bootsplash.

I gneerally dont like the bootsplash as i also like to know how the
system is doing on boot. But i know people like their eye candy
