Fwd: Ubuntu Kernel 2.6.8.1 + HighMEM?

Hi Guys,

Is there any easy way to get HighMEM(4GB) support into the latest
ubuntu choice kernel ? I would prefer to just have a Ubuntu system
with Ubuntu Standard Packages, but my 1gb of ram refuses to see the
full gig :(

Otherwise i'm rather impressed with it ( being a long time
gentoo/freebsd user ) its a nice desktop, a good change from the usual
dodge debian(*)
