totem: Very bad (?)

While I *thought* Totem could play mp3 files (I've never tried), the
default "Music Player" in Ubuntu is Rhythmbox. It loaded up my 6000
song library (all paid for thank you very much. :-) and started
playing immediately.

*Note* I just tried playing an mp3 in Totem and it worked fine,
although it may be because I installed the win32 codec packages from
here:
