What do you like best about Ubuntu?

The first thing about Ubuntu that struck me was the simplicity, I like that the best. I use my computer for fairly standard things, Email, Web Surfing. Word Processing that kind of thing so I was appreciative of the fact that I didnt have to wade through miles of apps that I didnt want, need or even understood.

At first I thought the brown look wold grate on my nerves however; this has not been the case, although I switch the themes to see what they are like I find myself comming back to the Human theme all the time.

I did like the people theme idea. I thought it was a good representation of what Linux should be about, different people comming together to share a common vision and respecting each others differences. The world really does need more Humanity in it.

>From an end user point of view I really find Ubuntu stable, with a nice mix of apps and tools to allow me to get to work right away. I even don't mind having to install some KDE stuff so I can use K3B and Kaffeine.

All in all Gnome has come a long way, and Ubuntu has done a nice job showcasing some of the strengths of Gnome and Linux in general.

In time I can only see improvement and my continued use of the product.

Good work so far, keep it up.
