Nah, it's already getting crowded with:

  Chocolate 4:3
  Chocolate 16:9
  Monthly 4:3
  Monthly 16:9
  October 4:3
  October 16:9
  ... (other months stacking up...)

So 8:3 would be pushing it. When I ran multihead displays, I used to
just tile the background. If you're running 1600x1200, that'll be
easy. ;-)
