Disable vesafb?

Thanks for the reply. I tried that, as well as "video=vesa:off" to no
avail. Here's my kernel line from grub:

kernel          /vmlinuz-2.6.8.1-3-686 root=/dev/hda5 ro quiet vga=normal

lsmod still reports vesafb as loaded. I've got it listed in
/etc/hotplug/blacklist also.
