Manually configure network on Live CD?

Help!

What's the default user (warty) password on the Live CD?
I'm attempting to configure the network (Applications->
System Tools->Network Tools) and it won't let me!

Neither a NULL password, "warty," nor "warthog" will get
me past the "CONFIGURE" button.  I can't find anything on
the web.

I tried setting the warty password, but that didn't work
either.
