Thanks! I used the program "Inkscape", which isn't installed in Ubuntu
by default, but it's in the main repository.
More specifically, in Inkscape I set the page size at 1600x1200 -
which seems to scale down well. This first batch isn't terribly
creative - I just grabbed the logos in SVG form off the wiki and
scaled/colored/centered them on the page.
If you have any specific questions about Inkscape, let me know. I've
only been using it for a few weeks, but I'm a graphic designer by
trade, so it was pretty easy for me to get accustomed to the
interface.
I didn't get my newer variants online last night, but hopefully soon. :-)
