I had wondered about this, is it wise to fill the wiki up with how to 
add third party/unsupported software?
A more appropriate action would be to package it and submit it to the 
list (not that I know how to build a deb file, but I suppose I could learn).

If an Unbuntu Developer catches this thread, could they please respond - 
is adding how to's for unsupported software an acceptable thing to do in 
the wiki? If so then I will gladly add the instructions there.
