Thanks for the response, but it happens when adding new stuff, and
even only adding one album (7-8 songs) with one jpg, and I had no
problem to add a bunch of albums (10 or more) without jpg's. Also the
Pc I'm using is not an ultimate model, but is not too old (athlon
800Mhz 256 Mb ram)
Two weeks ago when i first installed ubuntu I also had some problem
adding the albums, I think that it crashed a couple of times, but
finally, and maybe after a upgrade I was able to add all my songs
without having to move all non music files somewhere else. The problem
was that I compiled my own kernel and I did not include the support
for the filesystem of the partition in where i have my music, so when
I started rhythmbox it forgot almost everything and then whas when i
had the problem re-adding my music to rhythmbox.
Anyway thanks for your response again, and the "--no-update" option
seems interesting :-)
