Four years ago I put a pop up in a Linux distro I released with a photo I took
of Tux in my wife's food blender. It was like a "install SW now or the penguin
gets it". Ended up on Slashdot and in a Swedish newspaper.
It did raise a laugh but I also got a turd outside my front door with a CD stuck
in it too.
Why couldn't whichever tired / erect / pronhungry developer who had the idea to
force Pr0n onto the desktop (in whatever form) think hmmm.. during the install
wouldn't it be cool to have an ncurses or libnewt warning with a "hit ok now"
to say there may be images here which may offend:
People of some religions
People in a school or corporate environment (huge amount of new believers)
etc etc
Is it laziness or just stupidity ?
