I agree. I decided I would ask my wife (who has used Ubuntu previously
on my laptop but could care less what distro is on there---she was
using Slackware for the past couple of months) to give me her reaction
after describing what ubuntu meant and explaining that a new theme had
been introduced that had the community "abuz." I didn't tell her what
I thought about the theme b/c I wanted to get her "true" reaction...
here are her reactions (note they are not necessarily mine):
To the GDM--- "It's ok but kind of cheesey. Looks like an
advertisement for something... wait a minute... how come they have no
shirts? What does that have to do with humanity to others?"
to the splash--- "that's just looks bad... why are they naked?"
to the monthly wallpaper--- "Laughs-- that's kind of suggestive--- are
they about to have a threesome or what?"
Anyways, like I said, these are not my responses but I wanted to share...
