Does anyone know of any Synaptic like software that does installation 
and more importantly uninstallation like aptitude?

I like to try software but when I try to uninstall it with Synaptic, on 
the software in question is removed and NOT the dependencies that were 
installed with it.

With aptitude, everything is removed.
