okay, okay,,,,

can we discuss somethingof a technical nature.

i'm sure the thoughts and wishes a rather large cross-section of ubuntu
users
have chimed in on this "social issue". 

done....

at this point, i have linux problems that i'd like to get assistance on and
also to provide where possible.

enuf already...the horse has been beaten past death---let it go.
pleeeeeze...

whoa. I'd have to agree with the OP. While generally I'm not opposed to 
a modest amount of skin, I do use Ubuntu here at work and would hesitate 
to display that as my day-to-day theme.

I'd like to see Ubuntu disseminated far and wide and could definitely 
see this as a hindrance to that goal in certain cultures and/or 
environments.
