Unofficial Ubuntu Faq?

I'de like to join the docs team also but don't seem to be able to find
out how.  I did follow the instructions and send an email to the devs
list with [doc] in the subject but got a message it was waiting for
moderation.  I get the feeling that all the docs discussion is
happening on the dev list and I don't want to join that - as I keep on
saying I think we should have a docs list.
