Hi Folks,
having seen there were questions about wine:
there actually is a way to install it on warty:

1. install gcc if you hven't yet: sudo apt-get install gcc

2. download the wine sources

3. befor compiling, make sure you have working access to your windows c
drive

4. wine needs some libraries. so do install them by doing

	sudo apt-get install xutils xlibs-static-dev xlibs xfree86-common
libxaw7-dev

5. unpack the wine archive

6. do ./configure

7. use the fine wine setup tool provided. do execute it as user, not as
root. Follow the instructions.

8. from here, yu are on your own.

Your mileage may vary.

Bye
Thomas

PS: I don't have a problem with wine. I have a problem without wine. ;-)
