libtermcap.so.2 needed

Hi,
i try to compile a tool that i need.
When i start the process it gives me this error:

error while loading shared libraries: libtermcap.so.2: cannot open
shared object file: No such file or directory

I tried to  install termcap-compat_1.2.3_i386 but it depends on libc5
and libc6 is installed.
Anyone knows which packages also give me the libtermcap?
I remember that i got the tool running on my recently deleted Ubuntu
installation, but dont ask me which packages i installed that time :(.
