CUPS: not printing

Hello all

I am having issue in printing with CUPS. While I can configure the printer, it
says it's ready and accepting job, whenever i try to print a test page or to
print from somewhere else, it says "printing", but it just hangs. I then hit
"cancel", and the job prints... but not what i expect. Something like this
comes out:

***gribbish, overwritten letters, etc... ***
