It comes up on many mailing lists regularly, both those where Reply-To
is munged and those where it isn't.

This makes it possible to send private replies if you feel the need, and
for someone to set their own Reply-To indicating their preferred reply
address in situations where they aren't allowed to change From; munging
Reply-To means you can't do either of these.

Good mailers have a "reply to list" function, and support
Mail-Followup-To. To tell you the truth I don't know whether this
particular definition of good includes either Evolution or KMail. :-)

Googling for "reply-to considered" will find you essays expounding both
viewpoints, and will reveal that the issue is not clear-cut and
one-sided.
