Cups client can't find cups server

Hi

I have a cups server running on a SuSE system that broadcasts it's
printer information on the local network.

Other cups clients such as other SuSE boxes, MacOSX boxes and so on
automatically adds the printer to the different print dialogs (in OOo
for example).

However, my ubuntu box does NOT do that.  I don't know cups very well
and all documentation I find just say "do nothing on the clients"
kindof.

I have verified that the ubuntu box get's the broadcasts using
ethereal and everything looks fine.

Is this a bug? Has anybody else seen this? Or suceeded in using a cups
client with automatic setup?
