Hi, I've got an old Acer Travelmate 212TX that reboots instead of halting when choosing to shut down the system... I tried booting with 'noapic nolapic', 'pci=noacpi', 'acpi=force' but the problem still remains. I got the power management working with a previous Gentoo installation using APM. Glad if anyone could help :)
