A nice tool to answer this question is to search in synaptic or 

$ apt-cache search kernel source 2.6.8
[...]
linux-source-2.6.8.1 - Linux kernel source for version 2.6.8.1 with Debian patches

Just install the package, the sources should then be put into
/usr/src.

Good luck with compiling the driver! So the card is not yet detected
by the standard Ubuntu kernel? If you are successful, could you post a
short HowTo to the Wiki or/and to the list? Thank!
