this also happens to me on my Thinkpad iSeries 1200 Laptop...

I get this error message:

PM: Preparing system for suspend
Stopping tasks:
=========================================================================================|
Could not suspend device 0000:00:14.0: error -5
Restarting tasks... done

Which also seems to be my USB controller... (but I don't have any USB
devices connected....) Any ideas????
