Thanks to all who helped me and posted about the getting my NVIDIA
video card driver up and running. Ubuntu is the first distro I've
used where people are helpful and give step by step instructions for
us newbies. Ubuntu rules!
Now, I want to have a working java plugin in firefox for ubuntu amd64,
and I've found that blackdown offers it and others use it, but I can't
find instructions/how-to that's easy enough for a newbie to
understand, that's specific enough with regard to ubuntu, firefox, etc.
If someone could post, or point me in the right direction, to a
step-by-step on installing java and the firefox plugin in Ubuntu, so a
newbie like me can hadel it, that'd be great. Thank you Ubuntu!
