OpenOffice printing issues

Do you already have a solution for this?
I can not print in OpenOffice to the configured "Queue", too.
The "Queue"-printer is a remote lpd-server.
Printing with lpr from commandline and the testsheet from Gnome printer 
wizard works fine.
It seems to be no issue in printer configuration.
OpenOffice doesn't know how to release a correct print process.
