totem movie player error

hi there,
I have a problem playing songs in totem or the other
players
every time jumps to the next song says this
An error occured
Could not open resource for writing.

but clicking on play
it starts playing

any idea of how to correct this error
I'm using audio cd AND mp3 disks

I tried to install
XMMS but when launched does not work
I dunno why,
I tried using a terminal but replys with this;
libmikmod.so.2: cannot open shared object file: No
such file or directory
Inconsistency detected by ld.so:
