It was solved with
: [bagfors at zyrgelkwytng]$ ; sudo apt-get remove
linux-restricted-modules-2.6.8.1-3-386
: [bagfors at zyrgelkwytng]$ ; sudo apt-get upgrade
I don't even think I need restricted but ubuntu polled in it for me so
I'll let it do it's job.
