the other big mistake is to
click "reply,"
Erase all text and subject
Enter new text and subject

Decent email clients will recognise this as a single thread and fold 
them into a single line. The subject in the subject column will, of 
course, tbe the old one with two annoying consesqueces
1. Yours will be unseen.
2. Yours will irritate someone trying to follow the original thread when 
it's marked as having new content.

If you're using a GUI mailer, click the Ubunto address or copy it.


I for one don't mind silly subjects:-) I just don't read the mail.
