Unfortunately, the Win4Lin patch
(http://www.netraverse.com/member/downloads/kernel_patch.php) is very
invasive, and would not be appropriate for inclusion in the default Ubuntu
kernel in its present form.

If that project can produce a patch suitable for inclusion in the mainline
kernel, then we would certainly consider it.
