Ah, now we get closer. BTW, command | pmount.txt will fail, you
meant command | pmount.txt. Anyway, the error message was there:

mount: block device /dev/sr0 is write-protected, mounting read-only
mount: wrong fs type, bad option, bad superblock on /dev/sr0,
or too many mounted file systems
Error: mount failed

But I strongly suppose that

  pmount /dev/scd0

will work? So this seems to be a hal problem: it reports the device as
'/dev/sr0', but it should be '/dev/scd0'. Can you please do again:

  ls -ld /sys/block

As soon as I have these information, I will ask the hal author about
that, but I'm afraid we cannot fix that for warty any more.

However, manually mounting it by right-clicking on the CD icon in
"Disks" and then "Mount" should still work. Can you confirm that?

Thanks for your cooperation!

Martin
