There is a certain amount of work involved in getting a live CD working,
even if an installable CD already exists for the same platform.  That work
simply has not yet been done for the powerpc platform.

If anyone on this list is interested in working on an Ubuntu live CD for
powerpc, contact me off-list to coordinate.
