I think it's a no win situation. By default Mailsmith does not put in _any_ line breaks.

If a mail client capable of flowed text receives a message without line breaks, it puts them where it wants them and usually botches quoted text. Also, some people have there own preferences set to how they want their text wrapped.

When I send mail without breaks, I have had people complain. When I send mail with breaks I have had people complain. So, it seems like a no win situation.
