ndiswrapper install/setup?

There are pretty good instructions at ndiswrapper.sourceforge.net, I 
folllowed them yesterday to install the windows firmware for a Dlink 
650+ card that is not very well supported on linux. It worked quite 
well, but another project which I wanted to use (kismet) did not 
recognize the card.
