How to Disable Root?

delete its line from /etc/passwd - Thats my guess.

As mentioned in a previous post, I was forced to enable root in order to 
get Webmin installed. How to I get root disabled now? In OS X, there is 
just an option to do this and I believe it accomplishes this by giving 
root an ivalid password.

Anyway, how do you disable root in Ubuntu?
