ndiswrapper install/setup?

I noticed that ndiswrapper just got added into main

 (
from warty changes mailing list archive -> Accepted:
ndiswrapper_0.10-1.diff.gz
  to pool/main/n/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper_0.10-1.diff.gz
ndiswrapper_0.10-1.dsc
  to pool/main/n/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper_0.10-1.dsc
ndiswrapper_0.10.orig.tar.gz
  to pool/main/n/ndiswrapper/ndiswrapper_0.10.orig.tar.gz
)

Does this mean that now from a fresh install I'll be able to install
ndiswrapper from synaptic, and let it worry about all of the kernel
header/source dependencies.  Then just have to run

ndiswrapper -i path_to_driver.inf
modprobe ndiswrapper

iwconfig wlan0 ESSID/KEY etc...

Or will I still have to figure out how to compile the ndiswrapper driver
(installing the necessary .debs first.)?

Thanks for the help

Todd Maynard
