Has anyone tried doing a dist-upgrade from Warty to Sid? If so, did
you
run into any problems?

If no one has expert opinions on the smoothness (or lack thereof) are
welcome. Note that Gnome would not be an issue b/c it has been
removed.

Why, you may wonder, would I want to do this even though Ubuntu is
better? Well, I must miss KDE 3.3 so bad...

Of course, if it might be appearing in Ubuntu anytime soon, I s'pose I
could wait :-)

Cheers,

Read this very list or do a seach the forums for info. on how to add KDE
to Ubuntu.

IMHO that would be the simplest and best answer.

I really like Ubuntu - the first time I had reason to completely dump
Windows(TM)(R)(we own u).

Thanks to all who contributed!!
