Installing from a daily...

It was due to not having xsupplicant installed; my dorm network is
802.1x secured. I got the packages and put them on my USB key, but it
didn't mount properly. I was advised to update to a new kernel to see
if that fixed it; I brought my laptop to a friend's apartment and ran
a full update from his cable modem, and after the upgrade found myself
1943-afflicted.
